About Cookaborough for Support at Home Recipients
Effective 1 November 2025, Support at Home is the new name for the Home Care Package (HCP) program.
Cookaborough supports Support at Home recipients to access ready-made meals from local food businesses.
We provide a directory of trusted businesses and make it easy to access government funding for delicious, nutritious meals tailored to support healthy ageing at home. The food businesses on our platform are passionate about creating small-batch, locally produced meals, freshly prepared and delivered to your door.
To get started, simply sign up, find a participating business in your area, and add your Care Provider’s details. Once approved, you’ll only need to pay 30% of the cost upfront; the rest is invoiced directly to your Care Provider.
How to get started
1. Apply with us
Head to our website: https://cookaborough.com.au/hcp-ndis/hcp-recipients
Click ‘Apply for SaH Meals’ and enter your Care Manager’s details. We’ll contact them directly to manage approval and account setup for you.
Alternatively, you can speak with your Care Provider for a referral, or contact us directly on (03) 7037 1139.
2. Explore your local Cooks
Enter your delivery address to browse Cooks in your area, explore their menus, and choose the ones that suit your taste and needs.
3. Order wholesome meals
Once your application is approved, you can begin placing orders. You’ll only need to pay 30% upfront, with the remaining amount billed to your Care Provider.
How to apply if you already have a Cookaborough profile
Follow these steps to connect your existing profile to your Support at Home funding and start ordering rebated meals.
1. Log in to your Cookaborough profile
Go to https://cookaborough.com.au/ and click Log in in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
📲 If you're on a mobile device, click Log in next to the ☰ icon in the top right-hand corner.
Enter your email address and passwords, or log in with Google, Facebook or Apple.
2. Go to the Cook's page
Click on the tile for the Cook you want to order from.
3. Open the Cook's SaH tab
Click on the SaH tab.
📲 If you're on a mobile device, click the ☰ icon in the top right-hand corner, then click on SaH.
4. Enter your Care Manager details
Click Add details. Enter your Care Manager’s email address, then click Continue.
5. Submit your request for approval
Click Submit request.
Once your Care Manager approves, you’ll be notified and can start ordering rebated meals.
